T.K. Coleman is Director of Entrepreneurial Education at the Foundation for Economic Education. T.K. creates workshops and curricula designed to teach the value of economic literacy and entrepreneurial thinking. He was recently featured in the Netflix documentary "Less Is Now." His passion is helping young audiences elevate their aspirations and sense of agency to create and persevere in their individual journeys to live flourishing lives of meaning, achievement and happiness.

Shane Hough is a career Foreign Service Officer with 21 years of service with the U.S. Department of State. He is the Diplomat in Residence based at Tulane University in New Orleans, working to recruit the next generation of diverse talent for rewarding careers with the State Department.

Please join the Political Science department and the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research for a talk by Andrea Vilán based on a chapter from a book project on the domestic politics of treaty incorporation. The chapter offers an in-depth case study of how a particular human rights treaty on child labor was received in Bolivia.

Join us for the September Art & Advocacy Exhibit opening in the Diboll Gallery of the Tidewater Building downtown on Friday, September 8 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. This installation is the first of three in an exhibition series combining art, speakers, and topics relevant to public health. 

M.A.R.I.'s Brown Bag talk series is meant to provide a venue for students and faculty focusing on topics related to Mesoamerica to discuss their latest research in an informal and friendly setting. This week’s talk will focus on “The Role of Women in the Conquest of Mexico”.
