The Stone Center is organizing the 22nd annual Tulane University Student Conference on Latin America (TUSCLA) on Friday, November 21st, 2025 at the 2nd floor of the LBC. The Stone Center invites all undergraduate and graduate students, both inside and outside of the Latin American Studies programs, to come attend, present, or speak about their work on Latin America. The TUSCLA Conference first began in 2003 and was transformed in 2006 to become an all-day event annually in which students can experience what it is like to present papers in the style and atmosphere of an academic conference. During the past two years, we have had over 50 posters and 25 panelists. It is an interdisciplinary student symposium designed to have shared discussion of the region, its society and its cultures.
