This CJMA signature event will bring participants to five places around the world at which a group suffered from, or is currently experiencing, an incidence of identity-based hate. Specifically, it will be centered around the four CJMA outreach areas - African-American outreach, multi-faith outreach, Latin-American outreach, and LGBTQ outreach - with one additional session on the Holocaust and anti-Semitism. Approximately half-hour long sessions on each topic will be presented by renowned experts in the field, special guests including special guests including Sarah Holewinski of Human Rights Watch and Congresswoman Elaine Luria will share their perspectives, and Ambassador Samantha Power will tie the five segments together in a keynote address.

The Virtual Civil & Human Rights Mission is especially geared towards middle and high school students, but will be an informative and relevant educational opportunity for all.
