Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine part of consortium working to eliminate malaria in Hispaniola

A recent news item from SF Gate highlighted the role of Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in supporting Haitian health workers committed to accelerating efforts to eliminate malaria in Haiti. The school is part of Malaria Zero, a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-led consortium of NGOs, universities, and local ministries of health. Malaria Zero’s goal is to eliminate malaria from the island of Hispaniola, which includes Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
