Summer Maya Language Institute Featured on Telemundo
With the sudden shift to teaching online, our annual summer Maya Language Institute, Oxlajuj Aj also quickly transitioned to an online environment. The course began on June 15th online. Maya language scholar, Ixnal Cuma Chavez who has been teaching Kaqchikel Maya for Tulane University for over 20 years was interviewed by the local Telemundo channel in New Orleans via Skype for a series called Nuestra Ruta Ancestral.
