Summer in Brazil: Até logo, São Paulo! Students share their experiences about the program
The 2024 Summer in Brazil Program has ended. Students spent six weeks in São Paulo, Brazil, learning the Portuguese language and culture in a unique immersive experience. Our summer correspondents, Mali Weitzman and Olivia Shackelford, brought us their last video, in which they interviewed students about their experiences.
Summer in Brazil is a 6-week summer program sponsored by the Stone Center for Latin American Studies at Tulane University and the Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies at Vanderbilt University. It caters to graduate and undergraduate students who wish to achieve a high-level of Portuguese fluency through immersion in Brazilian culture.
