The Cuban and Caribbean Studies Institute offers Tulane undergraduate and graduate students the exciting opportunity to spend part of summer vacation exploring the intrigue and curiosity of Cuba. Currently our programs invite undergraduate, graduate, and Public Health graduate students to Havana, and offer 3-6 Tulane credit hours. The programs are designed to bring the participants closer to the region's politics, society, history, health system, and culture through intensive class work and stimulating explorations outside of the classroom.
Non-Tulane students are welcome to apply to our programs. Grades and credits are transferable according to each school's policies. The programs are open only to students seeking credit hours at a university.
