Dr. Paul Hoffman, Louisiana State University’s Paul W. & Nancy W. Murrill Porfessor of History, will lecture on the Louisiana State Museum’s newest exhibit opening to the public on April 5, 2018 at the Cabildo. Recovered Memories: Spain, New Orleans and the Support for the American Revolution will take visitors on a chronological journey of Spanish-American Relations, from Spain’s own age of enlightenment during the reign of Charles III, through European and American revolutions, to the technological advancements of the 20th Century.

Friends of the Cabildo members are invited to a free members-only exhibit opening April 22nd from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Cabildo.
