Que Pasa fest this weekend at Lafrienere Park Hosted by Cervantes Hispanic-American Arts Foundation

This weekend, Cervantes Fundacion Hispanic-American Arts Foundation is hosting Que Pasa Fest 2022! Admission is free and it takes place on Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 9th from 11am to 9pm at Lafreniere Park in Metairie. The festival will feature 16 food booths from different Latin American countries, community outreach booths, and business booths. A children's play area is available to parents. There will also be a soccer game honoring the media personality Jorge Vides, and musical performances by local and international acts. 

Ariana Hall ( Tulane Alumna, Computer Science and Theoretical Linguistics) is the recipient of The Guillermo de Bango Excellence in the Arts Award this year. She is the Co-founder and Executive Director of CubaNOLA Arts Collective, a New Orleans based non-profit arts organization with a mission to promote cultural wellness and equity. Hall is currently the Operations Manager at the Joan Mitchell Center.
