Stone Center for Latin American Studies at Family Day

The Pebbles Center welcomes all to a bilingual story time or la hora del cuento featuring award-winning author and educator, Andrea Olatunji. Olatunji will share two short stories exploring the biodiversity of the Americas, Omar, el jaguar and Guillo, el armadillo. Originally from Uruguay, Olatunji now lives in New Orleans with her husband and son bringing stories of the Americas to classrooms across the country. Young readers of all language backgrounds are welcome to participate in this interactive story time program. The Pebbles Center is a collaborative project between the Stone Center for Latin American Studies and the New Orleans Public Library.
