LAST 2020 Senior Profile: Nile Pierre

Nile Pierre is a senior from Los Angeles, CA majoring in Latin American Studies and Political Economy. She is a Posse Foundation Scholar and Cowen Scholar. While studying abroad in Havana, Cuba in fall 2018, she presented at an international conference at the Univerity of Havana on international diasporic identity. Nile is an incoming consulting analyst at Accenture She hopes to continue to build an international community and stay involved with efforts to increase intercultural dialogues. Although her senior year ended in an unexpected way, she is glad that she had the time she did have with professors and classmates, and encourages future students studying Latin American Studies to study abroad and take advantage of the interdisciplinary major by exploring different topics.
