LAST 2020 Senior Profile: Ella Zimbalist

Ella Zimbalist graduates in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Policy and Practice, and a minor in Latin American Studies. During her time at Tulane, she has conducted research on descriptive representation in Chile with Professor Barnes, and presented at the Rollins Latin American and Latinx Studies Symposium with the Stone Center. Her experience studying abroad in Chile in the Fall of 2018 inspired her thesis research on the dictatorship legacy and current mobilization in Chile. Ella looks forward to working as a field organizer in Wisconsin after graduation.
