A strong commitment to professional development has always been at the heart of all LARC’s outreach activities. These opportunities are great ways for teachers to learn innovative strategies for introducing Latin America into the K-12 curriculum across all subject areas.
For all workshops offered, participants receive a Certificate of Participation stating the content covered during the workshop and time-on-task. This certificate can be used to fulfill Continuing Learning Units for the state of Louisiana in accordance with the High Qualified Teacher definition.
