Join us for an in person/hybrid presentation on Tulane’s Concur & Travel Booking system. All students who are planning on applying for summer field research funding from the Stone Center for Latin American Studies for the first time must attend. This event will be held in person and on Zoom - snacks will be served! Consider staying for the the 5:30 session on the Summer 2025 Grants Program for Latinamericanist Graduate Students.
The agenda will include:
- - A review of Tulane’s Travel Policy – if you receive any funds from the university for any kind of travel (research, professional development, full or partial funding), you must abide by Tulane’s Travel Policy.
- - Navigating Tulane Concur system, including setting up your Concur profile. You can set up and/or update your Concur profile. If you cannot access your Concur profile, please email travel@tulane.edu.
- - High Risk Travel – what are the policies, countries, and how to get permission to book.
- - Other misc. items – i.e. hotel booking, booking Air BnB, and any further questions you might have.
