The program will feature a block of five shorts from across the Caribbean, which you can read about here, and the feature-length fiction film Freda, directed by Gessica Geneus, who will be in attendance. We are honored that Gessica will be present for the screening, and engage in a post-film conversation.
Based in Miami, Third Horizon celebrates cinema from the Caribbean, its Diaspora, and other spaces of the Global South, including through the annual Third Horizon Film Festival (THFF). NOFS and NOFF are pleased to collaborate with Third Horizon to present a program of films by filmmakers from the Caribbean and its Diaspora, all THFF alumni.
