Bate-papo is a weekly informal Portuguese-language gathering with the PORTulane campus community. All events are on Fridays and on the Jones Hall Patio, though times vary each week and we may have to use zoom in case of rain. We welcome all faculty, staff, undergraduates, graduate students as well as community members and each get-together always includes speakers of diverse proficiency levels, including native speakers.

Join the Sawyer Seminar for a closing dinner and conversation as part of the symposium From River Road to Copenhagen: Revising our Remembrance of the Past with special guests Laura Kilcer VanHuss and Dr. Phebe Hayes. Guests who participated in any part of the multi-part symposium are invited to a dinner at Tulane to connect further over the topics explored in the programs. This event is limited to 30 people, please RSVP to Miriam Taylor at mtaylor11@tulane.edu and include any dietary restrictions.
