The School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine Student Government Association is excited to invite you to the SALUD General Student Body Meeting! The mission is to incorporate student involvement of those interested in Latino American health, to improve awareness of health rights, and to lessen the gaps and increase the interaction between students and the Latin American community. It's an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow students, hear about upcoming events, and share your thoughts and ideas. Lunch from El Pavo Real will be provided.

Latin American culture will be in the spotlight as  Celebración  Latina presented by Pan-American Life Insurance  Group  returns to Audubon Zoo on Sunday, September 24, 2023. This  beloved cultural event offers  our community an opportunity to enjoy one of New Orleans’ biggest celebrations of Latin cultures while investing in a local institution dedicated to diversity and inclusivity.  This event  will offer a true taste of the Latin American culture with live music, children's activities,  Latin cuisine, and conservation programing.
