Molly Hansen

Biography

Molly Hansen, originally from Cary, North Carolina, completed her undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University in 2012 earning a B.A. in Spanish and a B.A. in Art History. During her time at Appalachian she participated in an Alternative Spring Break trip in San Isidro, Costa Rica in 2010 and studied abroad for the Spring 2011 semester in Sevilla, Spain. Her senior honors thesis in part focused on the public representation of African religious symbols in Latin America, specifically Brazil and Cuba, and as a member of the Stone Center she focused her research on Latin American, and particularly Brazilian, art. Molly earned her M.A, in Latin American Studies from Tulane in May 2014.
