Join the Tulane Culture Workshop and the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research Post-Doctoral Fellow Maria Akchurin for a discussion of her work-in-progress in a workshop titled, Contested Water: Water Resources, Market Policies, and Social Mobilization in Post-Authoritarian Chile on November 13, 2017, in Newcomb Hall 314.

The Tulane Culture Workshop in a platform to discuss the latest social science research and hone our craft as publishing researchers in a spirit of support and inter-disciplinary exchange via peer critique. These workshops are different from a lecture series, where the audience passively listens to an oral presentation. In these workshop discussions, participants have read the article and the presenter gives only a brief introduction. Participants and presenter then workshop the pieces, providing critical feedback with the goal of helping the author rethink, rework, and polish their research.

Please RSVP to for a copy of this paper.

This workshop is funded by a Lavin-Bernick Grant.
