LAGO Graduate Student Conference: Knowledge and Power

January 27th, 2017 - January 29th, 2017

Tulane University Uptown Campus

Tulane University‘€™s Latin American Graduate Organization (LAGO)‘€™s 2017 Graduate Conference: ‘€œKnowledge and Power‘€ will be held January 27-29 in New Orleans. At the conference, we encourage participants to engage in an interdisciplinary discussion on subjects related to inequalities in the creation and distribution of information ‘€” cultural, historical, empirical, and digital ‘€” in the Americas and the Caribbean. In addition to discussing social, economic, and political barriers to knowledge production and access, we seek to highlight a broad range of dialogues that move beyond the boundaries between traditional academic disciplines.

Panels will be held in the following locations:
Weinmann Hall (WH) rooms 302 and 304 (Building 32 on the campus map)
Greenleaf Conference Room, Jones Hall 100A (Building 25 on the campus map)

Friday 8:30am-3:00pm; Saturday 8:30am-2:00pm
Location: Greenleaf Conference Room, Jones Hall 100A (Building 25 on the campus map)
