"Latino Americans" Screening

On Wednesday, January 27, the Hilliard Museum in Lafayette will host a free screening of an episode from Latino Americans, the acclaimed PBS documentary. The event is part of a series sponsored by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities as part of Latino Americans in Lafayette a project funded by the American Library Association and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Following the screening, University of Louisiana at Lafayette professor Dr. Lena Suk will lead a panel discussion on the local Latino community, current debates around immigration, and the role of Latinos in contemporary politics.
