Day of the Dead and St. Joseph'€™s Day: A Little Lagniappe for New Orleans'€™ Holidays

Mexicans and Italians comprise the largest immigration populations in New Orleans. Despite being ‘€œnew‘€ to the city, they have become major actors in the city‘€™s annual celebrations. In fact, they are responsible for introducing two of New Orleans‘€™ biggest holidays, Day of the Dead and St. Joseph‘€™s Day. Produced by Lauren Nir and Aiesha Washington. Fall 2011. 7:12.
