Roger Thayer Stone Center For Latin American Studies

Tulane University

International Programs

The Stone Center for Latin American Studies offers students the exciting opportunity to spend part of summer break exploring the beauty and richness of Latin America through our own Center-run programs. Currently our 2021 programs invite students to Brazil, Cuba, and Guatemala, and offer 6-7 Tulane credit hours. All of the Stone Center’s summer programs are designed to bring participants closer to the region’s politics, society, history, language, and culture through intensive class work and stimulating explorations outside of the classroom.

Non-Tulane students are welcome to apply to all of our programs. Some programs do not require a language prerequisite. Grades and credits are transferable according to each school’s policies.
