Each month of the 2003/04 academic year, usually on the second Thursday of each month, the Club will gather to discuss informally a book that is relevant to Latin America in some way. The books reflect a variety of topics, formats, and presentation styles. The Club will meet for approximately one hour, from 5-6pm, in Jones Hall 100A (The Greenleaf Conference Room). On nice-weather days, we may move the discussion outside to the Jones Hall patio. You are invited and welcome to attend as many or as few of the meetings as you so desire. You do not need to commit to the entire slate of books in order to participate. If you are interested in participating, it will be up to you to obtain your own copy of the book. The Club is open to any person who has an interest, so please spread the word to your friends and colleagues. The calendar below lists the date of the Book Club meetings. Questions can be directed to Jimmy Huck at jhuck@tulane.edu.
