Welcome back to the beginning of the school year! Hopefully everyone is ready for the Fall semester and enjoyed the summer break. The Latin American Resource Center has been busy over the summer with the Summer Teacher Institute and preparing for the Fall semester.

The fall is always quite busy with Hispanic Heritage month around the corner and Day of the Dead festivities quickly approaching. There are many activities planned for LARC this semester so please keep checking our website as new events may be added at any time. We are still looking for teachers to participate in the curriculum writing project, please contact me if you are interested <dwolteri@tulane.edu>. Selected teachers will receive an honorarium as well as have the chance to work as an ongoing consultant for local or national conferences.
