“A Brief History of Reflections on Water”. Richard Watts, Associate Professor in the Division of French and Italian Studies, University of Washington, and former Associate Dean for International Programs, Newcomb-Tulane College, Tulane University. Richard Watts is the author of Packaging Post/Coloniality: The Manufacture of Literary Identity in the Francophone World (Lanham, MD: Lexington Books, 2005) and a forthcoming book, Water Narratives: Imagining Global Environmental Change in the Francophone Post/Colonial World

This event is in conjunction with the current exhibition in Newcomb Gallery, “Reflections on Water” and SLA Majors Week
