Gabriel Thelus will speak about his work in his hometown of Jacsonville Haiti. After attending Virginia Tech and earning his Associate’s Degree in Plant Agriculture, Gabriel returned and has worked tirelessly to improve the education, medical care and quality of life of the people of Jacsonville. Gabriel has partnered with Sante Total to bring sustainable healthcare to the area. The leaders of Sante Total, Alison Smith and Chris Rodgman, will also be on hand to talk about their work. Please join us this Friday at noon in the 1430 Tulane Ave SOM auditorium to hear from this inspirational leader.

This summer, join us for La hora del cuenta bilingual readings series at the Pebbles Centers of the New Orleans Public Libraries!

On the first and last Saturday of every month, we will read a bilingual book at the Algiers Regional Library and the Children’s Resource Center Library beginning on Saturday April 28 until Saturday, August 25. Children and parents welcome!
