Samantha Greenspun

An Oakton, Virginia native, Samantha Greenspun earned her B.A. degree from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania in 2005 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate career, she studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain, and she has traveled extensively throughout Spain, Mexico and the Caribbean. Samantha served as a Pro Bono Coordinator for Greenspun, Shapiro, Davis & Leary, PC in Fairfax, Virginia from 2005-2008, working particularly to facilitate communication with and to provide services for Spanish-speaking clients. In addition, she worked in a research capacity on a capital punishment case involving victims of the Civil War in El Salvador. From 2008-2009, Samantha served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer where she created “Bridging the Gap,” a project for a Latin American Studies service-learning university course. At the Stone Center, Samantha’s research focuses on Latin American immigrants’ cultural assimilation.
