Tulane's Latin American Library to Showcase New Materials During 13th Annual Open House

The Latin American Library will host its 13th annual Open House on Friday, September 29th from 1:00-4:00 PM. The annual Open House at the Latin American Library is an opportunity for Tulane Latin Americanists, students, staff, as well as the greater New Orleans community to come together and celebrate the collections and services at the Latin American Library. For this event, LAL has prepared an exhibit of some recent acquisitions. There will be a book give-away of Latin American materials. At 2:00 PM, local New Orleans artist Josephine Sacabo will give a presentation on her recent work on graffiti and her innovative photographic techniques. Corrine Boudreaux will be debuting a new lobby exhibit about the immigrant experience of children in New Orleans at 3: 00 PM.
