August 15th, 2017

David Smilde, a senior fellow at the Washington Office on Latin America and professor of Sociology at Tulane University, spoke to The Washington Post about Vice-President Pence’s diplomatic efforts in returning democracy to Venezuela. Dr. Smilde also contributed an op-ed piece in the New York Times titled How to Avoid Civil War in Venezuela earlier this summer.
