The Department of Spanish and Portuguese presents a lecture by Benjamin Moser titled “Clarice Lispector: Lives and Afterlives”

Benjamin Moser is a writer, translator, and critic based in the Netherlands. He is the author of the acclaimed biography of Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector and is the series editor of new translations into English of her complete works. He has published translations from Dutch, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper’s Magazine, and The New York Review of Books. In 2016, he published the collection of essays Autoimperialismo: Três ensaios sobre o Brasil. Benjamin Moser is currently completing a biography of Susan Sontag.
