Daniel Bonilla, Associate Professor of Law at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, will give a talk on Wednesday, November 4th on “Latin American Law and Latin American Studies.”

About Professor Bonilla:

Daniel Bonilla is Associate Professor of Law at the . He holds a doctorate and a masters in law from Yale Law School and a law degree from Universidad de los Andes. He has been a visiting professor or lecturer at a number of institutions, including Yale Law School, Fordham Law School, Oñati International Institute for the Sociology of Law, University of Texas School of Law, Georgia State University College of Law, University of Puerto Rico, University of Brescia, and Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and several awards for excellence in teaching. Among his most recent publications are Geopolítica del Conocimiento Jurídico (ed.) (Siglo del Hombre Editores: 2015), Constitutionalism of the Global South (ed.) (Cambridge University Press: 2013); La función social de la propiedad en perspectiva comparada (ed.) (Editorial de la Universidad de Buenos Aires: 2013) and Legal Clinics in the Global North and South: Between Equality and Subordination, 16 Yale Hum. Rts. & Dev. L.J. 176 (2013).
