From The Times Picayune: "Hispanic Heritage Month in New Orleans True Fiesta"

“The 2015 Hispanic Heritage Month in New Orleans was the best. It was a month of true fiesta honoring the Latin American and Hispanic heritage!

In addition to the events that I described in previous columns, there were several more that attracted large crowds.

“We are so excited that everything went so well with great attendance beyond our expectations”, said Brenda Melara, Board member of Cervantes Fundación Hispanoamericana de Arte, which organized the fifth annual Que Pasa Fest that lasted seven days. She added that the highlight of this year was the partnership with Xavier University and Audubon Nature Institute.”
