The Middle American Research institute is happy to present the third Brown Bag of the 2015-2016 academic year. Bobbie Simova, graduate student in the Department of Anthropology, will give a talk entitled “Public Ritual and the Changing Cultural Landscape of Actuncan, Belize” on her research in western Belize.

M.A.R.I.‘s Brown Bag talk series is meant to provide a venue for students and faculty focusing on topics related to Mesoamerica to discuss their latest research in an informal and friendly setting.
