Rebecca Atencio Interviewed on the BBC about the Brazilian Truth Commission Report

Nearly 30 years after the end of Brazil’s military dictatorship, a national truth commission is issuing a report into human rights abuses carried out during that time. Rebecca Atencio, Assistant Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at Tulane University, was featured on the BBC to discuss the release of the Brazilian National Truth Commission report. Atencio, who researches the Brazilian dictatorship, and post-dictatorship Brazil, was interviewed on BBC Radio 5 live.
