Mexico's Voting Program is a Potential Game Changer for Voters outside Mexico

Alex Hopper talks about new electoral programs in Mexico that makes it easier for Mexicans living outside the country to vote. Now Mexicans can get a voter ID card, necessary to vote, at a Consulate instead of having to travel to Mexico to get the card. The 11 million potential voters in the United States represents a large pool of individuals who can have a major impact on future elections. Hopper explores how Mexicans living in the US feel about these changes. Produced in fall 2014 in conjunction with Mexican Politics, taught by Prof. Casey Love, and the Center for Public Service. 4:04.
