Gran Fiesta a smash!

October 4th, 2013

On Friday, September 27, Latinamericanist faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduates across disciplines enjoyed a welcoming reception hosted by the Stone Center for Latin American Studies. Over a hundred participants affiliated with Latin American Studies enjoyed hours of music, delicious food and drink, and good conversation. The Gran Fiesta is an important yearly event that brings together a diverse Tulane community whose research and personal interests are rooted in Latin America. Like always, the Gran Fiesta was a huge success in bringing the Tulane Latin Americanist community together in celebration.
